Columbia Emerging Markets Society
WHO WE ARE
The Columbia Emerging Markets Society (CEMS) is an on-campus student organization that serves as a platform to research and share economic developments in emerging markets while exploring specific industry verticals and cultures across these regions. Members are encouraged to find ways to increase foreign investments in emerging markets, acknowledging the need for sustainable development in these five main regions: Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Middle-East & North Africa, and East-Asia.
From attracting engaging guest speakers and policymakers to hosting lively panel discussions and debates, Columbia's Emerging Markets Society is committed to creating an exciting program for our members to engage with the most compelling growth markets of our time.
